Samantha McConnell has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Samantha started their career in 2005 as an Assistant Manager at Anderson Music, where they handled customer relations, managed the schedule, and performed administrative tasks. In 2009, they worked at Orchid Cellmark as an Accessioning/Proofing employee, where they were responsible for organizing and maintaining file folders and inputting time-sensitive information. Samantha worked as a Rigging & Comp Artist at The DAVE School in 2014, and at Walt Disney World as a Photographer from 2012 to 2015, where they juggled multiple responsibilities in fast-paced, high-stress environments. In 2015, they joined Digital Domain as a Sr MOVA Facial Technical Artist, later transitioning to the role of Digital Compositor and then becoming the Lead Anim Viz Compositor. Samantha also had a self-employed period from 2008, where they worked as a 3D Generalist and a Freelance Photographer. Additionally, they briefly worked as a Teaching Assistant at The DAVE School in 2015. Overall, Samantha's work experience showcases their adaptability, creativity, and attention to detail.

Samantha McConnell's education history begins in 2006 when they attended the New York Film Academy and received a Certificate in Digital Editing. In 2010, they obtained a certification as a Notary Public from the State of Michigan. From 2010 to 2012, Samantha attended Lansing Community College, where they pursued Mathematics and Computer Science, but did not complete a degree. Samantha then went on to the DAVE School from 2013 to 2014 to earn a Diploma in Digital Animation and Visual Effects, specializing in 3D Generalist.
