Hussain Darwiesh serves as the Chief Strategy Officer for the Digital Cooperation Organization since October 2023, focusing on strategy planning, performance, and governance. Prior to this role, Hussain was the Executive Director of Strategy & Corporate Excellence at the Council of Health Insurance, where responsibilities included corporate strategy planning and performance management, as well as business excellence. Hussain held various positions in digital strategy and innovation across several organizations, including leading the digital transformation for the Health Insurance Regulator. An experienced professional in business development and digital innovation, Hussain previously worked at Saudi Telecom Company and Mobily, contributing to smart cities initiatives and digital project commercialization. Hussain holds a B.S in Computer Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and has completed several executive education programs in strategy and innovation from prestigious institutions such as London Business School and MIT Sloan School of Management.
