Emmett Burton has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Emmett started their career at the Governor's Office of Management and Budget at the State of Illinois, where they worked as a Sr. Capital Markets Analyst from October 2012 to February 2015. Emmett then joined Wells Fargo Securities, where they worked in Investment Banking from April 2015 to September 2019.

In 2019, Emmett joined TealBook as an Enterprise Account Executive and later progressed to the role of Senior Enterprise Account Executive from February 2021 to February 2022. Subsequently, they served as the Sales Director for Financial Services from February 2022 to September 2022.

Currently, Emmett is working at Digital Asset as the Director of Sales - Americas. Their responsibilities include advising regulated exchanges and banks on modernizing financial infrastructure using smart contracts and DLT. Emmett is focused on creating new revenue opportunities and reducing risk in traditional financial markets using Daml, the smart contract platform of Digital Asset.

Emmett Burton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago. Emmett is also a Level II Candidate at the CFA Institute. In terms of additional certifications, Emmett obtained the Series 79 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in June 2017, the Series 63 certification from FINRA in August 2015, and the Series 52 certification from FINRA in April 2015.
