Michael FitzMaurice is an experienced aviation professional specializing in Apache helicopter operations and instruction. Currently serving as the AH64E Apache Helicopter New Equipment Instructor Pilot at DigiFlight, Inc. since September 2019, Michael leads training for both US and foreign aircrews and is recognized as a Link16 training Subject Matter Expert. Prior experience includes roles at System Studies and Simulation (S3), Inc., where Michael was the AH64E New Equipment Standardization Instructor Pilot and AH64D/E Standardization Instructor Pilot. Michael began military service in the US Army where numerous leadership and technical roles were held, including Standardization Lead for aviation resource management and Combat Developer for Longbow Apache capabilities. Michael’s qualifications encompass extensive instructor experience across multiple helicopter models and operational environments.
