Marcel Wendt is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in founding and leading companies in the digital and information technology sectors. Currently serving as CTO and Founder of Digidentity BV since January 2007, Marcel also holds board member positions at Cloud Signature Consortium and eHerkenning. Previous roles include co-founding and advising several startups, including Citizen Alert Services, a pioneer in SMS alerts in the Netherlands, and Golden Bytes International BV, which focused on digital yellow pages and interactive TV. Marcel's career began in the mid-1980s with the establishment of Chain Technology BV and Chain Data, contributing to significant advancements in the industry. Marcel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from The Hague University of Applied Sciences.
