Lorenzo Melchior has a strong background in software development and cloud engineering. Lorenzo worked as a DevOps Engineer at dida Machine Learning from January 2021 to the present, where they were responsible for software development and deployment, as well as cloud engineering. Lorenzo utilized a variety of technologies including Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, GNU/Linux, Docker, Python, and Bash.

Prior to that, Lorenzo worked as a Data Scientist at dida Machine Learning from February 2019 to January 2021. In this role, they focused on analyzing and engineering data, as well as developing and deploying Machine Learning models, particularly in the areas of computer vision (CV) and natural language processing (NLP). Lorenzo'stechnical skill set included Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, Tensorflow, and Google Cloud Platform.

Lorenzo's earlier work experience includes a role as a Working Student in the Climate Modelling Group at the Freie Universität Berlin from December 2016 to December 2018. In this position, they were involved in the administration of GNU/Linux servers and software development. Lorenzo worked with technologies such as GNU/Linux, SLURM, LDAP, Puppet, MPI, C/C++, Python, Java, SQL, and PHP.

Lorenzo Melchior completed their education in the field of Computer Science. They first pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree from 2016 to 2020 at Freie Universität Berlin. Following that, Lorenzo obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree from 2020 to 2022, also from Freie Universität Berlin. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Lorenzo obtained the certification of Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect in April 2022 through Google.
