Dimitris Moulavasilis has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Dimitris is currently the President and CEO of Diaverum, a global provider of renal care services. Prior to this role, they were the CEO of Affidea, a Dutch Holding Company that specializes in healthcare services. Dimitris also served as the Vice President of the Diagnostic Division at Affidea and as the Country Manager for Affidea Greece. Before their time at Affidea, Mr. Moulavasilis worked at GE Healthcare, where they held various sales management positions in both core diagnostic imaging and ultrasound.
Dimitris Moulavasilis has a diverse education history. In 1986 to 1991, they attended Technologiko Ekpaideutiko Idrima, Athinas, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Athens University of Applied Sciences.
In 2008 to 2014, they pursued higher studies at the University of Leicester, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
In 2012, Dimitris attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education to complete a program in Leading High Performance Healthcare Organizations - Europe.
In 2017, they enrolled in The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) for the Leadership Academy Program in Health Economics, Policy, and Management.
In 2021, Dimitris Moulavasilis participated in the Competing in the Age of AI program at the Harvard Business School Executive Education.
Additionally, they acquired the Singularity Executive Program certification from Singularity University in November 2023.
