Jose Pernalete is an experienced journalist with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a correspondent for Voice of America in Miami since 2013, Jose has also worked as an independent investigative journalist. In addition, Jose has been a journalist and host of the program "Dígalo Aquí" at EVTV Miami since 2015. Prior experience includes leadership roles such as Vice President of the Colegio Nacional de Periodistas in Caracas, where Jose advocated for the rights of communication professionals. Jose held the position of Head of Press and Institutional Relations at Polichacao, focusing on enhancing the institution's image. Previously, Jose worked as a reporter at RCTV, covering community and crime news. Jose holds a degree in Social Communication with a specialization in Audiovisual from the Universidad del Zulia.
