Zainab Mehdi has held a variety of roles in the accounting field. In 2021, they began working as an Accounting-Controller at CBelow. Zainab also worked as a Temporary Project-Accounting Department at Diamond Wipes International in 2020. Before that, they were an Accounting Manager/Controller/Operations Director at KVP International, Inc. in 2020. From 1995 to 2010, they worked as a Controller at Ocean Blue Inc., where they utilized their varying skills and abilities to lead in any department and use a problem-solving strategy to increase work flow. Lastly, they were a Finance Director at Youth Skills Center from 2010 to 2020.

Zainab Mehdi attended the University of California Riverside (UCR) in 2013.
