Hazel Aitkenhead is an Industrial Liaison Scientist specializing in Cryo-EM at Diamond Light Source since December 2021. Prior to this, Aitkenhead served as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford from April 2014 to September 2017 and worked as a Visiting Scientist at Cancer Research UK from October 2013 to April 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Biosciences from the University of Oxford (2017-2021), a Master of Science in Structural Molecular Biology from Birkbeck, University of London (2015-2017), and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of St Andrews (2009-2013).
