Ben Kemp is a highly experienced engineer specializing in systems engineering, particularly in motion systems. Since April 2012, Ben has served as a Senior Systems Engineer at Diamond Light Source, focusing on the design, development, commissioning, and operational support of motion systems for accelerators and beamlines at the Diamond Synchrotron Light Source. Prior to this role, Ben worked at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK UK from October 2009 to March 2012 as an Electronic Engineer in underwater systems engineering, developing electronic, automation, and control systems for submarines and unmanned vessels. Ben's earlier experience includes a similar position at QinetiQ from September 2004 to October 2009, contributing to the same field for military applications. Ben holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Warwick, obtained between 1999 and 2003.
