Lisa Elstad is currently a researcher and PhD candidate at Diakonhjemmet, focusing on psychological factors in chronic pain among patients with psoriatic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Lisa has extensive experience in psychological treatment, including roles as a specialist psychologist at the National Treatment Service for Rheumatological Rehabilitation and Metacognitive Therapy Oslo. Previous positions include psychologist and expert evaluator for a resource team serving three municipalities and various roles at Akershus University Hospital involving assessments and treatments for pain conditions and psychotic disorders. Lisa's education includes a degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Oslo and specialized training in metacognitive therapy and acceptance-based behavioral therapy.
