Sandy Rostkowski is Director of Housing Management for Diakon and is responsible for the oversight of four rental-assistance (U.S. Housing and Urban Development) properties in eastern Pennsylvania and western Maryland. A property management specialist with more than 32 years of experience in HUD-related affordable housing, she is a Certified Manager of Housing, Accredited Resident Manager and Certified Occupancy Specialist; further, she holds an (escrowed) Pennsylvania real estate license.
Ms. Rostkowski is a member of the PennDel Affordable Housing Management Association and has served on the group’s Education and Training Committee. Before joining Diakon, she was a senior asset manager with Pennsylvania Multifamily Asset Managers and a regional property manager with Pennrose Management Co. and Community Realty Management.
A graduate of Leadership Wilkes-Barre, Ms. Rostkowski has an associate degree from Keystone College and a bachelor’s degree from Lock Haven University. She is currently a board member of the Housing Development Corporation of NEPA and is active in several community fundraising events including Special Olympics and the Commission on Economic Opportunity/Weinberg Food Bank. She also serves as a puppy raiser with the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind.
Ms. Rostkowski is based at Diakon’s Lutherwood senior housing complex in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
