Torsten Bondo is a seasoned professional in the fields of business development, project management, and earth observation, currently serving as the Business Development Manager for DHI since November 2021. In this role, Torsten supports international development and data analytics projects, fosters collaborations with climate research institutions and NGOs, enhances water resource services, and leads fundraising efforts. Prior experience includes serving as Business Development Manager at DHI GRAS, co-founding and acting as Chief Scientific Officer for Sensonomic, and working as an Earth Observation Exploitation Engineer at the European Space Agency, where significant projects in forest mapping and agricultural monitoring were initiated. Torsten's earlier positions include engineering roles at Ramboll, DTU Space, and TICRA, complemented by academic achievements including a PhD in Space Research from the Technical University of Denmark and a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Copenhagen.
