Ratan Purkayastha has several years of experience in sales and management roles. Ratan started their career at PepsiCo in 2006 as a Territory Development Officer. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Dabur India Limited as a Sales Officer, where they developed effective strategies to maximize sales and achieve targets. In 2015, Ratan joined FUTURE CONSUMER ENTERPRISES LIMITED as an Assistant Sales Manager, where they continued to focus on sales strategies and target achievement. Since 2016, they have been employed at Dharampal Premchand Limited (DPPCL) as an Area Sales Manager.

Ratan Purkaystha completed their Matriculation from Serou Practical High School between 1986 and 1996. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Mathematics from DM College of Arts from 2000 to 2004. After completing their Bachelor's degree, Ratan Purkaystha went back to Serou Practical High School to pursue another Bachelor's degree, this time in Business/Commerce, General, although the end year for this second degree is not specified.
