Debasis Acharya has a strong background in sales and management. Debasis began their career in 2007 as a corporate sales executive at India Today. Debasis then worked as a Territory Sales Executive at United Breweries Ltd. from 2010 to 2013, where they were responsible for overseeing O.S.B. operations. Acharya joined PepsiCo in 2013 as a market development coordinator, where they successfully expanded distribution and retail, planned and monitored target achievements, motivated and controlled sales teams, settled channel partner and dealer accounts, and launched new products. In 2016, they became a Sales Manager at Ask Me Grocery.com for six months before moving on to become an Area Sales Manager at Berlia Fresh Foods and Beverages Pvt Ltd from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Acharya is working as an Area Sales Manager at Dharampal Premchand Limited (DPPCL), where they are in charge of a team of six and responsible for the BABA products.

Debasis Acharya received their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Khallikote Autonomous College from 2005 to 2007. During the same period, they also pursued and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing from Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University.
