Gouri Shankar has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Design Engineer at DGS Technical Services Inc. which they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Vasavadatta Cement as a Mechanical Design Engineer from 2021, where they gained knowledge in Autocad and various mechanical and civil drawings. Gouri also had a brief role as a Mechanical Design Engineer (Product Designer) at Radoratory Technology Pvt Ltd from 2019 to 2020, where they used Catia V5 software for designing and creating prototypes. In 2018, they worked as a Design Engineer and CNC programmer at Adhishakti Toolings Bangalore, and as a Mechanical Engineer at Vasavadatta Cement.

Gouri Shankar completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Navodaya Institute of Technology, RAICHUR, from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from B250 H K D E College of Education Humnabad, from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, Gouri Shankar has obtained several certifications, including CAD PRO Participation from ELAN & ηvision, IIT Hyderabad in February 2020, Product Design Engineer (Cre-o) from Karnataka German Technical Training Institute in October 2018, Quality Inspector Metrology from Karnataka German Technical Training Institute in October 2018, and Product Design Engineer (Catia) from Karnataka German Technical Training Institute in August 2018.
