Abdul Rafey Aftab has a diverse background in electrical engineering and research. Abdul Rafey has experience working as a trainee electrical engineer at Mari Petroleum Company Limited and has interned at PTCL, Schlumberger, and Halliburton. Abdul Rafey Aftab currently holds the position of Guest Researcher at Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) and Specialist Algorithms LIDAR at BMW Group. Abdul Rafey is also a PhD Candidate focusing on multimodal interaction inside a vehicle using gaze, finger pointing, and speech.
