Dan Blackman started their work experience in 1987 at Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a Nuclear Engineer. Dan then worked at Paul Smith Engineering as an Engineer in Training from 1989 to 1992. In 1992, they joined Edmonds Engineering, Inc. as a Project Engineer and later became a partner in 1998. In January 2007, Dan became the President & CEO of Edmonds Engineering, Inc. where they specialized in construction and design in various industries. In June 2021, they joined Dewberry as the MEPS South Operating Unit Manager and Vice President.
Dan Blackman earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, where they studied from 1983 to 1987.
