Umer Ahmed began their work experience in 2017 as an Internee at Civil Avaition Authority of Pakistan. In 2019, they joined Sybrid Private Limited - A Lakson Group of Company as a Technical Support Engineer (Stormfiber - L1), where they provided on-call resolution for technical issues and monitored the network. Umer also worked as a Team Lead (Stormfiber - L1), managing level-1 technical support queries and overseeing a team. Umer's most recent position is as a Cloud Engineer at Devrims, starting in 2021.

Umer Ahmed completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Systems from Usman Institute of Technology between the years 2014 and 2018. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Networks & System Security from NED University of Engineering and Technology, which they completed from 2018 to 2021.

Furthermore, Umer Ahmed has obtained additional certifications to enhance their qualifications. In June 2021, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate after completing the required program at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In March 2020, they completed the Introduction to Cyber Security course provided by Cisco Networking Academy. In the same year, they also achieved certifications as a Network Security Associate (NSE 1 and NSE 2) from Fortinet in June 2020.
