Ammar Bin Sarshar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Ammar started their career as an Assistant Brand Manager at Novartis Consumer Health, where they completed a management trainee program and worked on various sales and marketing projects. Ammar later became a Key Account Manager and Territory Manager, leading a strategic business development initiative to diversify the company's distribution model. During this time, they exceeded business expectations and increased consumer brand awareness.
Following their time at Novartis, Ammar worked as a Regional Manager for Consumer Engagement at Philip Morris International. In this role, they supervised and guided retail partner events and activities to align with strategic objectives. Ammar also played a key role in recruiting and training brand ambassadors, leading to top line revenue growth and increased brand awareness. Additionally, Ammar initiated divisional improvements, including the development of a cloud-based application for real-time analysis of consumer data.
Afterwards, Ammar took on the role of Regional Manager of B2B Sales at TOTAL PARCO. In this position, they facilitated rapid revenue growth by expanding the corporate customer base and ensuring profitable management of customer accounts. By implementing a strategic and customer-focused approach, they achieved 50% top line growth for the business in a flat market.
Ammar then gained experience operating in the Australian environment as a Marketing Manager at Bizcorp Services Australia. Ammar was responsible for developing a marketing framework for a small IT consultancy company, adding significant commercial value to the business through the definition of a value proposition and creation of effective go-to-market strategies.
More recently, Ammar has been self-employed as a Business Consultant, specializing in the Pharmaceutical and Tobacco industries. Ammar provided consultation services to an ad agency and helped them secure a major multinational client, Caltex.
Currently, Ammar is working as a Senior Business Development Executive at DevJeco, where they identify and targets new business opportunities to drive company growth and revenue.
Ammar Bin Sarshar earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Marketing from the Lahore School of Economics. Ammar attended the institution from 2004 to 2006.
