Sarah Mintey MBE has an extensive work experience in the education and charity sectors. Sarah began their career in 1995 as the Director of Business and Community Initiatives at Flegg High School. In 2006, they took on the role of Assistant Headteacher - Future Leaders Placement at Robert Clack School of Science, where they were responsible for implementing the key stage 3 mentoring programme and the analysis of data. In 2007, they became the Vice Principal at Burlington Danes Academy, where they demonstrated their commitment to improving inner city education. In 2010, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Open Youth Trust and its trading arm Closed Ltd. Sarah then joined Raising IT as the Strategy Director in 2013, where they were responsible for delivering the strategy days with the charities they worked with. In 2015, they founded Developing Experts Ltd. and was responsible for ensuring that every child has access to STEM learning and careers. Sarah joined Team Giving Limited as the Founding Director in 2013 and Inspiration Trust as an Education Consultant and Director of Projects in 2015. Finally, in 2022, they became the Education & Digital Trustee at MyBnk, a UK charity that delivers expert-led financial education programmes to 5-25-year olds in schools and youth organisations.

Sarah Mintey MBE received their Bachelor of Education with honours in Design and Technology from The University of Manchester from 1991 to 1995. Sarah then went on to earn their Master of Arts in Education from the University of East Anglia from 1998 to 2000.
