Karina H. serves as the Assistant Director of Refugee Accommodation at Deutsches Rotes Kreuz since November 2022, overseeing volunteer coordination and managing a team at the Arrival Center for Ukrainian refugees. Previously, Karina was a Guest Lecturer at Moscow State University, where a course on "Social and Economic Development of the Middle East" was developed. Experience also includes roles as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Oriental Studies, Administrative Assistant at the Embassy of Mauritania, Senior Translator for the Russian Red Cross Society, and a Translation Specialist for UNHCR. Karina is educated with a Master's degree in Asian and African Economies and International Economic Relations, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics of the Middle East, both from Saint Petersburg State University.
