Hanne Roden is an experienced operations manager and humanitarian professional with a robust background in international disaster response and development projects. Currently serving as Operations Manager for Global Surge at the German Red Cross, Hanne has also held various roles including Team Lead focused on WASH in Lesbos and Project Coordinator for a Forecast Based Financing pilot project in Mozambique. Hanne's previous experience includes serving as Country Representative for the Danish Red Cross in Liberia, coordinating programs on gender and human rights, as well as community recovery and resilience efforts during the Ebola outbreak. In addition to consulting roles in agricultural investments and management advisory positions in Mozambique, Hanne has an extensive academic background with multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning.
