Tyler Gifford is an experienced professional in the wind energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Repower and District Operations Manager at Deutsche Windtechnik since March 2022. With regional oversight of nine wind energy facilities across five states, Tyler manages a diverse portfolio generating over 1 GW of clean power. Prior to this role, Tyler worked at Vestas as a Senior Site Manager, managing a 600MW generating facility with 300 wind turbines and approximately 30 direct reports. Tyler's early career includes key positions at NextEra Energy Resources, where responsibilities ranged from Regional High Voltage Field Operations Manager to Wind Site Manager and Senior Wind Technician, covering a significant number of generating facilities across multiple states. Tyler's expertise also includes a role as Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics Technician at Clipper Windpower and an internship at bp in renewable energy operations. Tyler holds education credentials from Iowa Lakes Community College.
