Frank Weidemann has an extensive work experience, starting from an apprenticeship as a Retail Banker at VR-Bank Sömmerda-Sondershausen eG in Germany in 1995. Frank then worked at Hypo Real Estate Bank International AG, initially in the Departments Credit and Portfolio Management from October 2003 to January 2006, and later as a Senior Associate in the Department of Structured Finance Investment Banking from January 2006 to April 2007. Frank then worked at Hypo Real Estate Bank AG as a Senior Associate in the Department of Securitisation and Capital Markets Europe from May 2007 to January 2009, where they were involved in structuring and closing various synthetic CMBS and CDO transactions. Frank also worked on the optimization of funding and capital utilization during the capital market crisis and developed financial tools like an IRR calculator. Frank joined pbb Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG in 2009 as a Director until October 2010. Frank then joined Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, initially as a Director from January 2012 to June 2013, then promoted to the position of Head of Business Management from June 2018.

Frank Weidemann graduated from Ilmenau Technical University in Germany in 2003 with a Diploma in Economics and Computer Science.
