Jens Hachmeister has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jens began their career in 1998 as a Management Consultant for Financial Services at KPMG Deutschland. In 2000, they joined Deutsche Börse and held various roles such as Project Manager and Deputy Head of Xetra Market Development, Head of Xetra Customer Service, Head of Clearing & OTC Sales, Head of Sales Support, Head of Markets Services, Head of Operations & Infrastructure Development, and Head of Human Resources. From 2010 to 2011, they served as the Head of Human Resources at Deutsche Börse. Jens then transitioned to the role of Program Manager and Head of Integration Planning before becoming the Managing Director and Chief of Staff to the CEO. In 2018, they took on the position of Managing Director responsible for DLT, Crypto Assets, and New Market Structures at Deutsche Börse. Currently, they serve as the Managing Director for Issuer Services and New Digital Markets at Deutsche Börse.
Jens Hachmeister has a diverse education history. In 1991, they began their education at Deutsche Bank, where they completed a fully-trained bank clerk program, earning the degree of "Bankkaufmann". Following this, from 1994 to 1998, they attended Bielefeld University and pursued a Graduate Degree in Economics and Business Administration ("Diplom-Kaufmann").
