Michael Volkermann is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project finance and infrastructure. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Project Finance at Deutsche Bank since April 2005, Michael specializes in various sectors including energy finance, energy transition, renewables, hydrogen, and PTX solutions. Previously, as Managing Director and Global Head of Infrastructure & Energy Financing, responsibilities included overseeing infrastructure finance, project finance, public-private partnerships, and debt advisory. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Michael held the position of Associate Director at KPMG from August 1997 to March 2005, where expertise was focused on corporate finance advisory, valuation, business modeling, and public sector advisory. Michael holds a Diplom Kaufmann degree in Business Administration from the University of Münster, obtained in 1997.
