Erik Rönmark is the current President & CEO of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Erik was previously the Artistic Advisor for Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera from October 2014 to September 2017. Rönmark has also worked with NEW MUSIC DETROIT and the University of Windsor, where they were an Instructor of Saxophone from August 2003 to July 2004.

Erik Rönmark began their educational career by earning a B.A. in music from Northern State University. Erik then went on to earn an M.M. in music from Bowling Green State University. Finally, they earned a D.M.A. in music from the University of Michigan.
