Alex Carter is a Mine Engineer with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently employed at The Detroit Salt Company since January 2021. Prior to this role, Alex worked at Cargill as a Mine Engineer from January 2014 to January 2021, providing engineering support at the Cleveland Salt Mine. Alex's early career included positions as a Mining Engineering Intern at Luminant and Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., where significant contributions were made to various mining projects and tools development. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, attained in 2013.
