Ayesha Miah has a diverse range of work experience. Ayesha began their career as a Tutor for America Reads*America Counts from September 2015 to May 2016. Ayesha then served as an Intern at Detroit Future City, where they assisted with managing their Field Guide grant program from June 2016 to August 2016. Following this, Ayesha interned at Global Detroit, focusing on the needs of the Bangladeshi immigrant community in Southeast Michigan from July 2016 to September 2016.

Ayesha's professional journey continued with roles at Michigan State University, starting as a Research Assistant in the Department of Political Science from September 2016 to May 2017. Ayesha later became an Undergraduate Learning Assistant from January 2017 to June 2017 and an Internship Coordinator from June 2017 to July 2018.

In 2018, Ayesha joined Challenge Detroit as a Fellow, participating in weekly leadership programming and pro bono consulting for various nonprofits in Detroit. Their fellowship lasted from August 2018 to August 2019.

From September 2018 to September 2019, Ayesha worked as a Government Relations Specialist at Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit. In this role, they coordinated and executed large-scale events, managed communications internally and externally, and supported advocacy work.

Since October 2019, Ayesha has been employed at the Detroit Regional Partnership (DRP). Ayesha initially worked as a Business Development Project Coordinator, supporting the RFI responses and account management for numerous projects. From January 2022 to December 2022, they were an Associate Manager of Client Services and Strategy, responsible for developing RFIs, proposals, and presentations, as well as engaging with site consultants. Since January 2023, Ayesha has held the position of Manager - Client Services and Strategy, taking a leading role in streamlining and improving service delivery.

Overall, Ayesha has gained experience in various industries and organizations, ranging from education and non-profits to government relations and business development.

Ayesha Miah attended Michigan State University from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in World Politics and Economics in the field of Social Sciences.
