Jennifer Dye, MILS, is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Assistant Manager at Detroit Public Library since September 2012, where responsibilities include developing relationships with patrons and providing readers’ advisory services. Previous roles at the same institution include Librarian II, focusing on programming and reference services. In addition to library experience, Jennifer has worked as a contractor for Palimpsest, coordinating database conversion and scholarly research support, and has held editorial positions at Detcon1 and Gale Research. Jennifer holds multiple degrees, including a MILS in Library Science from the University of Michigan and a Certificate in Archival Administration from Wayne State University.
