Niklas Ohlsson co-founded Detecht in 2017 and served as the CEO. Detecht is focused on developing a crash algorithm for motorcyclists that enables automatic emergency calls in the event of an accident, aiming to reduce emergency response time and determine the need for direct emergency treatment.
Prior to Detecht, Ohlsson worked as a salesperson at INTERSPORT Sverige from 2010 to 2018.
Niklas also had experience as an Intellectual Property & Innovation Intern at Saab Avionics in 2017, where they worked on several projects within Saab's product and innovation portfolio. Niklas focused on intellectual property and strategic value creation in the market.
Additionally, Ohlsson completed a summer internship at Vadsbo SwitchTech Group AB in 2016.

Niklas Ohlsson began their education journey in 2009 at Lm Engströms Gymnasium, where they pursued their high school education with a focus on Nature Science. After completing their high school education in 2012, they proceeded to Chalmers University of Technology for further studies. From 2013 to 2018, Niklas pursued a Civilingenjörsexamen (Master of Science) at Chalmers University with a specialization in Automation och mekatronik. In addition to their civilingenjörsexamen, Niklas also obtained a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Design from Chalmers University from 2016 to 2018.
