Magnus Spånggård has over a decade of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Magnus is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Detecht - Motorcycle App and GPS Navigation since March 2022.

Prior to their current position, Magnus worked at The Techno Creatives as a Lead Software Developer from April 2018 to February 2022. In this role, they assisted the CTO with developing and managing the dev-team, acted as a coach for junior peers, and served as the Tech Lead and PM for several projects. Before that, they held the position of a Senior Software Developer from April 2016 to April 2018 at the same company, where they were responsible for integrating with car systems and showcasing modern car features.

In 2012, Magnus worked as a Consultant at HiQ. Magnus also gained experience as a Prototyper at Volvo Car Group during the same year.

Prior to that, Magnus worked as a Developer/Designer/Project leader in freelance mobile app development from June 2010 to July 2011. Magnus also worked at Volvo IT as a Senior Analyst/Junior Analyst from June 2008 to September 2009, where they were responsible for server management on the Volvo network. Additionally, they worked as First Line Support at TeliaSonera from May 2007 to June 2008.

In 2011, Magnus completed a Master's thesis on "Designing Search Analytics with a User-Centered Approach" at Findwise AB. Overall, Magnus has a diverse range of experience in software development, project management, and technical support roles.
