Dana Rafiee

Director Of Worldwide Strategic Consulting at Destiny

Dana Rafiee has extensive work experience in the field of IT analytics and consulting services. Dana started their career at Hartford Steam Boiler in 1985, where they worked as a Data Processing Technical Information System Specialist, focusing on improving IT procedures and support for business operations. After that, they joined Destiny Corporation in 1987 and held various roles throughout their tenure. Dana started as a Senior Consultant and Instructor, where they established an educational practice and managed a team of instructors. In 1992, they became the Director of Consulting Services, leading multiple consultant teams on client projects. In 1997, they took on the role of Director of Data Warehousing and Consulting Services, responsible for developing the organization's data warehousing practice and overseeing client projects. Finally, in 2008, they became the Director of Worldwide Strategic Consulting, leading a team of consultants in transforming client operations through IT analytics infrastructure. Dana managed client projects in North America and EMEA and oversaw a broad range of company offerings, including migration services, business intelligence, cloud technology, and big data. Throughout their career, Dana has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in analytics software and data management.

Dana Rafiee holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems and Services, which was obtained from the University of Hartford from 1985 to 1986. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management from the same institution, studying from 1981 to 1984. In addition to their academic qualifications, Dana Rafiee has received certifications from IBM. Dana was certified as an IBM Certification Exam Developer in 2020 at Level I, as well as an IBM Certified Solution Architect for Data Warehouse V1 in the same year. Dana Rafiee was also recognized as an IBM Champion in 2020.
