Kathy Heraghty is the Co-Founder and Program Director of Destination Science, a hands-on summer science day camp established in 1999 that specializes in inspiring young children in science while fostering essential life skills such as curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving. Prior to this role, Kathy served as the Director of Operations at Science Adventures from 1990 to 1999, focusing on innovation and development. Additionally, Kathy held the position of Regional Program Director at Pritikin Systems from 1981 to 1990, where the focus was on learning and assistance. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Sciences from UCLA, obtained between 1981 and 1984, and is a graduate of Division Ave High School.
