David Andrews has a diverse range of work experience in marketing, communications, and editorial roles. David started their career in 2007 as a Web Content Editor for Archant, a role in which they were responsible for PR, daily news updates, and content creation for various websites. From there, they joined Ideal Shopping Direct as a Club Editor, where they managed an online magazine and worked closely with buyers to promote new products. In 2011, David joined EXO Travel as a Marketing Editor, overseeing editorial content and imagery, press relations, and social media. David then moved on to TTG Asia Media as an Indochina Correspondent before joining Destination Asia in 2014 as a Group Marketing Manager. David eventually rose to the position of Group Marketing & Communications Director at Destination Asia in 2016, which is their most recent role.
David Andrews attended Leeds Beckett University where they earned a BA degree in Art & Design, graduating in 2004. Prior to that, they studied at Presentation College from 1992 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, David also obtained additional certifications in Digital Optimisation and Marketing & Digital Strategy from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2021 and 2020, respectively.
