Javier Villarroel Oyarzún has worked in the software development industry since 2012. Javier began their career as a Desarrollador de software at Bint Ltda in 2012, where they completed a Professional Practice as a Web Developer. In 2013, they worked as a Desarrollador de software at the Universidad Austral de Chile on the Alfa Latín project, a platform for the collaborative creation of educational books. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Desarrollador de software at SoftPowering Ingeniería e Innovación Ltda. In 2018, they transitioned to Gat-Blac as an Ingeniero de software. Most recently, they have been a Full Stack Developer at Destacame.cl since 2019.

Javier Villarroel Oyarzún attended Universidad Austral de Chile from 2008 to 2014, earning a degree in Ingenieria Civil en Informática with a focus in Tecnología de la información.
