Mary Aronson

Vice President, Retail - Strategic Accounts at Dessert Holdings

Mary Aronson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the food industry. Mary started their career at Crystal Farms in 1983, where they held various sales management positions. Mary then worked at Schreiber Foods as a Business Manager, handling major accounts.

In 1998, Mary joined Conagra Foods Inc, Private Brands Division, as a Business Development Manager. Mary later became the Director of Sales, a position they held until 2009.

After that, Mary worked at CSM Bakery Solutions (now Brill) from 2009 to 2015. Mary served as the Director of Sales, managing a national sales organization and launching new bakery programs. Mary then became the Vice President of Sales for Strategic Accounts, overseeing a team of 55 and handling key retail accounts.

Mary then joined Gryphon Investors in 2015 as a Sales and Marketing Advisor, providing support during the due diligence period for the majority investment in The Original Cakerie.

In 2016, Mary joined Dessert Holdings as the Vice President of Retail - Strategic Accounts. Mary worked closely with Gryphon Investors and was involved in their acquisition of The Original Cakerie and the formation of Dessert Holdings. Mary currently manages a national organization focused on developing and supporting relationships with major strategic retailers and grocery chains.

Throughout their career, Mary has demonstrated expertise in sales management, account management, and strategic planning, working with various private equity firms and leading companies in the food industry.

Mary Aronson has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas. Mary also holds various certifications, including Customer Focused Interactions Coaching from Miller Heiman, and Executive Coach from VSA Coaching Group. Additionally, Mary has completed the Executive Development Program from Turknett Leadership Group and the Leadership Development Program 1 from Krauthammer. Mary has also pursued training in Conceptual and Strategic Selling and Large Account Management, both from Miller Heiman.
