Prior to that, from 2016 to 2022, Alemar was a Founding Math Teacher at Ednovate Inc.
In 2015, Alemar served as a Teacher Candidate (Math) at Luis Valdez Leadership Academy.
From 2011 to 2014, Alemar was a Founding Member, Web Designer, and Writer at Stanford El Aguila.
Alemar also had multiple roles at Stanford University. From 2013 to 2014, Alemar served as the Vice-President of Stanford Pre-Education Society and Co-President of Los Hermanos de Stanford. Additionally, in 2013, Alemar worked as an Education and Youth Development Fellow, teaching Photoshop to 7th and 8th-grade students from underprivileged backgrounds in East Palo Alto.

Alemar Brito pursued higher education, starting in 2007 at Sage Hill School. However, no degree or field of study was specified during this time. Continuing their educational journey, Alemar earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Stanford University between the years 2011 and 2015. Later, they attended Stanford University again in 2015, obtaining a Master of Education - MEd degree with a focus on Secondary Mathematics Education in 2016.
