Karl Peder Olesen is an experienced professional with a focus on engineering systems and product configuration within the manufacturing and IT sectors. Currently serving as the Head of CPQ and Engineering Systems at DESMI since February 2023, Olesen previously held various leadership positions at Alfa Laval Aalborg, including Team Leader for Product Architecture and Systems, where responsibilities encompassed team integration and the development of modular product architectures. Olesen also introduced agile methodologies to enhance product configuration processes and has significant experience as an IT Manager at EVAPCO Europe A/S, overseeing IT operations while developing product configuration software. Olesen's career began as a Product Configuration Engineer at Aalborg Industries, and earlier roles included Software Engineer at CADCAM Consult ApS. Olesen holds a Master’s degree in Engineering with a specialization in Industrial IT from Aalborg University and has pursued several management and project management courses to further enhance expertise.
