Heather Ryder has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Heather has held various roles at different companies. Heather'smost recent position is as the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance at Desktop Metal, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Information Systems and Risk at the same company, starting in May 2020. From October 2018 to May 2020, they held the role of Senior Information Systems Manager at Desktop Metal. Additionally, they worked as an Information Systems Manager at the company from December 2017 to October 2018.

Before joining Desktop Metal, Heather worked at HubSpot for several years. Heather'sroles at HubSpot included being a Helpdesk Manager from April 2015 to November 2017, a Helpdesk Supervisor from November 2013 to April 2015, and a Helpdesk Technician from July 2011 to November 2013.

Heather Ryder (she/her) obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer and Digital Forensics, with a minor in Computer Networking and Information Security, from Champlain College. Heather attended Champlain College from 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in IT Management from Brandeis University, which they completed between 2014 and 2018.
