Keith Shields has a long history of entrepreneurial experience. In 2008, they founded the FringeFX digital artists community and managed a volunteer staff of up to 30 people. Two years later, they sold the website after it had generated income via apparel and subscription services. In 2010, they founded the Ohio State University Freestyle Rap and BeatBox Club, which quickly grew to 420+ members and earned corporate sponsors. In 2012, they co-founded Applits, which was named Inc. com's "Coolest College Startup of 2014". In 2013, they co-founded Designli, a digital product studio in Greenville, South Carolina. In 2019, they became a member of YEC.
Keith Shields attended Marcellus Senior High School from 2006 to 2010. Keith then went on to The Ohio State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering in 2015.
