Lisa Battle is a seasoned user experience professional with extensive experience in enhancing the usability of web applications, software, and websites. Currently serving as the Principal User Experience Consultant at Design for Context since October 2006, Lisa collaborates with clients to align business goals with user needs through research and iterative design. Prior roles include leadership positions at the Usability Professionals' Association's DC Chapter, and as a User-Centered Design Consultant for the U.S. Social Security Administration, where Lisa played a key role in transitioning usability practices within the agency. Additional experience includes consulting for SI International on various systems for government and commercial clients, and serving as an Information Designer at Tyson Foods, developing support and training materials. Lisa holds a Master's degree in Cognitive Psychology/Human Factors from George Mason University.
