Thanos Rigas is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Operations Manager at DESFA SA – Hellenic Gas Transmission System Operator since April 2023. Prior to this role, Thanos Rigas held various senior positions at AVAX GROUP from September 2012 to March 2023, including Senior Process Engineer and Commissioning Manager, focusing on significant projects such as the Bismaya Power Plant in Iraq and the Cold and Hot commissioning works of the 3rd LNG Tank at Revythoussa LNG terminal.
