Abubakar Abbas Hashmi is a Graduate Trainee Engineer at Descon, where responsibilities include vessel sizing and simulating gas refrigeration units using Aspen HYSYS. As part of the Future Leader Internship Programs, Abubakar gained experience in safety protocols at the DESCON Technical Institute and performed hydraulic calculations at DESCON Head Quarters. Abubakar previously completed a Graduate Program at the Educational Institute for Equipment and Process Design, focusing on process flow development and documentation. Prior internships at Nestlé and Attock Refinery Limited provided insights into UHT plant operations and refining processes. Abubakar holds a degree in Chemical Engineering specializing in Petroleum and Gas from the University of the Punjab and has participated in interpersonal skills training at Amal Academy.
