William Rye has a diverse work experience in various industries. William started their career as an Account Manager and later became a Senior Sales Engineer at Eaton, where they formulated strategic plans for revenue growth and market penetration with national OEM accounts. William then joined Oil States Industries as a Sales Engineer and later became the Global Sales & Marketing Manager. During their time there, they partnered with Engineering and Marketing to develop new products and marketing collateral, doubling business volume and revenue through creative sales/product solutions. William then worked at PT Tech LLC as the Vice President, where they led M&A strategy and business development. William successfully qualified and retained buyers for the company's sale to Timken. Currently, they are the General Manager and Director of Sales and Operations - USA at DESCH Group, where they opened the first two U.S.-based offices for the global engineering solutions provider. Their responsibilities include overseeing various industries, such as oil and gas, construction machinery, marine applications, and more.
William Rye has attended Carson-Newman University and the University of West Georgia, where they studied Business Management and Business Management and Marketing, respectively. William has also obtained certifications from the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) and the Project Management Institute (PMP).
