Dan Cassidy is an experienced Operations and Infrastructure Engineer currently employed at Descartes Labs since November 2018. Prior roles include HPC Operations Engineer and Post-baccalaureate Intern at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where significant contributions included administration of a large heterogeneous computing cluster and managing a high-usage GitLab server. Dan's background also encompasses internships in computer systems and networking, research in virtual reality applications, and service in the United States Marine Corps focusing on telecommunications maintenance. An academic foundation in Computer Science was established at Indiana University South Bend, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree earned in 2017.
