Leanne Thompson is a Green Infrastructure Development Officer at Derry City & Strabane District Council since July 2017, specializing in project development from concept to delivery and budget preparation. Previously, Leanne served as a Project Officer for Wateside Shared Village and held the position of Senior Probity Officer at the Business Service Organisation, where responsibilities included monitoring complex multi-stranded payments and conducting practice visits. Leanne's earlier experience includes a role as a Project Officer at Loughs Agency, focusing on the implementation of EU-funded programs for Angling Development and Marine Tourism, and a Financial Administrator position at Reach Across. Leanne holds a Post Graduate degree in Environmental Management from Ulster University, completed between 2018 and 2020.
