John Tran is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process engineering and applications within the mineral and water treatment industries. Currently serving as a Process Engineer at Derrick Corporation since January 2023, John has previously held the position of Applications Specialist - Comminution and Applications Engineer at Weir Minerals from 2014 to January 2023. Prior to that, John worked as a Water and Wastewater Process Engineer at XCG Consultants Ltd. from 2010 to 2013 and began their career at RJ Burnside & Associates as a Project Engineer in 2010. John Tran earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, completing the degree in 2005.
